Instructor Renewal

Instructors are required to teach a minimum of 4 classes within the 2 years (not 4 students, 4 classes) and give each student a book in order to renew.

Instructors are required to renew their AHA Instructor Certification every two years.  American Heart Association now has separate BLS and Heartsaver Instructor Certifications,  you will need to have the 2020 Training Materials for each discipline that you are renewing.
*Note: There is no extra cost to renew both Heartsaver and BLS at the same time.

Please complete the form below and pay for the Instructor Renewal

Renewal for Current Instructor – $99

Renewal for Expired Instructor – $199

Once the renewal is paid for, you will need to plan a day to come in for a renewal class (In-state instructors) (If you instruct outside of the state of Georgia, Christian, our office manager, will reach out to you about the next step).

Renewal classes are held everyday except for Wednesday (weekends are susceptible to change) and always start at 8:30am. Be prepared with a laptop and any physical teaching materials (DVDs and manuals). Please also dress appropriately, you are representing the Training Center as one of our instructors.

We will process your renewal in AHA and reach out to you with the next steps.
