Blended Learning – 30 Minute Class Time

The American Heart Association Certification Blended Course offers convenience with a Virtual
(On the AHA Website) Key that participants can complete at work, or home, at their own pace.
Once the course is completed, the participant meets for the scheduled certification time for
a 30 minute skills testing session, to demonstrate their CPR & AED Skills. The Course offers
participants clear, easy to view videos, instructional updates, with a quick skills check out.
In-person Class and contact time is just 30 minutes. (Full American Heart Association Certification)

BLS and First Aid Certification Combo

BLENDED CLASS PRICE $89

In additions to BLS, class teaches how to assess and treat injuries and medical or environmental emergencies until professional help arrives. Skills focus on keeping the rescuer safe, while providing life-saving assistance to the patient in a variety of scenarios. Students learn proper techniques to use when treating internal or external bleeding; dealing with shock; managing bone and joint injuries; burn care; recognizing symptoms of heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergencies and more. Students also learn proper CPR techniques, how and when to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) and how to relieve choking for adults, children and infants. Use of a barrier device to prevent contamination during rescue breathing is also addressed. This combination course satisfies the First Aid and CPR requirements for child care providers in the State of Georgia. Upon successful course completion. Students receive an American Heart Association certification card valid for two years.
