Blended Course – 30 Minute Skills

The American Heart Association Blended program has been around for over 10 years. We mainly use Blended Learning with the medical providers to shorten their in-person class time. Since Covid, we converted most of our traditional classes to the blended.

Brief description of the Blended Class – In a traditional class we watch the Video then practice on the manikin, watch the Video then practice on the manikin and so on. With the Blended Class, there are two parts.

Part 1 – Students watch the American Heart Association video virtually. These are pre recorded videos, not a zoom meeting. Students complete the videos and section quizzes.

Part 2 – Students meet with an Instructor for the in person class and practical skills test. (Compression, Breathing, AED, Rescue Scenario, child, infant, choking) This takes about 30 minutes.

7 Days a Week.
8:30AM-9:00AM and
1:00PM -1:30PM.  Let us know the date and time you would want to come in for your Part 2 Skills test – 30 minute.
